It sits towards the higher end of their price ranges however is economical for both cycling enthusiasts and more committed sports men and women. It is going to appeal to both these groups as it offers all of the latest functions that permit precise, personalised and effective performance tracking crucial to enhancing cycling and fitness in a safe and scientifically structured way.
This specific model synchronizes with specially developed computer software programs that’ll run on your laptop, to provide you with the necessary support, analysis of your performance and help in crafting your own individual training settings. While this could take a short while to set up, there are straight forward directions and once completed you are ready to get started on training and improving in earnest.
Like all cycling computers, speed, distance covered, journey times etcetera are all measured, but this model goes much, much further than that. To start with it works out your resting heart rate and calculates what your maximum safe heart rate will be dependant on your age, although this can be adjusted in accordance with what you feel is your current fitness level, or indeed as your fitness standard improves. Your heart rate may be shown in beats per minute (bpm) or as a percentage of your optimum heart rate level, and may also be displayed in graph format.
This will allow the establishing of training zones – certain limits within which you can workout. It is possible to install numerous training zones according to the degree of intensity you need to work at. The Rs800cx will let you know, by way of a visual and audio alarm, in the event you fall outside of these parameters – either working too hard or not hard enough – so you can modify your work rate accordingly. This safeguarding element ensures you can’t exert yourself at dangerous levels. It is possible to develop training routines that spread over several days or weeks and fully monitor and adjust your progression in accordance with the computers’ evaluation of your output/performance.
This computer also makes it feasible to check and ascertain your aerobic conditioning by monitoring your heart rate and its fluctuations while resting. It can determine your optimal oxygen intake based on this test in conjunction with personal data already entered by you. This function, the ‘OwnIndex’ calculates the result, known as the VO2, and uses it to effectively predict the parameters that will make up your training routines.
You may also keep track of how many calories you’re burning based on your heart rate – transmitted wirelessly to the cycling computer. There are many other features here to enjoy as well, including the Altimeter, which measures altitude in terms of metres/feet ascended and descended utilizing an atmospheric air pressure sensor. It will also show gradients as a percentage or a grade, and take this reading into account and modify target zones accordingly. Body temperature based on heart rate can also be monitored for optimum safety. It will even interpret your rest periods and calculate whether or not they are conducive to maximising health and fitness levels.
To conclude, this is an intelligent and well advanced fitness monitor ideal for people who want to enhance their fitness in a scientific and safe manner.

What would be a good workout plan for a 13 yr old?
Im not really bothered to do a lot of cardio
I do cycling and play football at school everyday
I like doing exercise at home like sit-ups and pushups
What will a good workout plan for me be?
Im not fat
Kinda skinny
Answer
you should do light barbell exercises (squat, dead, bench, military press, row, power clean, etc.)…. Don’t do too much though at this point imo. Make form a priority over weight on the bar because once you get to high school and play football, these are the lifts you’ll be doing. Learn the form and gradually add weight.. You can start with a simple 3 day program like this (at the gym)
Day A
Power Clean- 3×3 (all mean sets x reps)
Back Squat- 3×5
Bench Press- 3×5
Chinups- 3 sets
Dips- 3 sets
Day B
Deadlift- 1×5
Front Squat- 3×5
Military Press- 3×5
Barbell Row- 3×5
Situps- 3 sets
good luck and feel free to ask more ?s!
