Squash The Healthiest Sport in the World Says US Business Magazine Forbes

In a survey conducted by Forbes and comprising of various fitness experts like coaches, personal trainers, competitor and exercise physiologists along with considering the personal experiences of people, Squash came out to top the survey leaving many other famous games like Swimming, Basketball, Cycling, Running behind.
Squash though not commonly played, as Tennis, Basketball, Swimming, is known to be one of the most physically demanding sports around. The game is a fantastic aerobic activity and a healthy sport to play.
Two players (or four players for doubles) play it in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. In a usual game, one player starts the rally with a serve, the game continues until the other player hits the ball out or down or fails to hit the ball before it has bounced twice.
The score in the game is calculated through two methods, one is, traditional (International) scoring and point a rally scoring (PARS). A game played as a fitness activity or for entertainment, purpose can have modified rules according to the players? requirements.
Though the IOC recognizes squash, the game is still to be incorporated in Olympic Games.

* Always ensure your fitness before playing a game of squash.
* Never overdo playing the game, if you are not at the best of your fitness or have been away from the game for a long time.
* Squash is a swift game requiring fast and precise movements. The body needs a lot of oxygen for doing such fast movements, so always do exercises that supply your body the maximum amount of oxygen such as, jogging, breathing exercises, brisk walking.
* This game usually results in a suddenly increased heart rate. Therefore, the people suffering from heart related problems should avoid this game.
* People who lack fitness should not take up this game.
The game of squash can be very rewarding in respect of fitness, fun and exercise if played with proper caution and care. Keeping yourself fit is the key for a successful squash game.
