Pro Indoor Cycling Bike
Posted on November 05, 2011 by Dave W
The Pro Indoor Cycling Bike is much different than other indoor bike products in many ways. If you are not into pro cycling, and just want a regular exercise bike then you have numerous models to choose from. These are usually larger and have a tendency to be rather bulky. The prices range from around $100 on up to well in the $500 range.
The first difference between a Pro Indoor Cycling bike and a regular indoor bike is the handle bars. Pro bikes resemble your outdoor bike in shape and size. The seats too have the same look and feel, and are streamlined just like you racing cycle. They have similar peddles, including the toe clips, and overall are more compact. Why are they like this and different from a regular exercise bike? Because they give you the feel and position that you would normally find yourself in when you are out on the road during warmer weather conditions, rather than sitting in an upright position. This also gives you a better workout, because you are using the same muscle and body position.
A regular indoor bike tends to have you sitting upright more than the Pro Indoor Cycling bike models do, and so your weight is distributed differently. This position also works you muscles in a different way than you would normally be accustomed to when out cycling on the road, and while these regular exercise bikes can give you a good work out, they just to don’t have the same training advantages as using a pro bike.
There are other advantages to using a Pro Indoor Cycling bike in general. An indoor bike can help keep you in shape all year long, even when in the Winter or the off racing season. Your regular bike can get enough wear and tear on it’s own, and using an indoor bike can help keep this wear down. You don’t have to worry about replacing tires if you get a flat, like you would with regular bikes. They can give you just as good a workout routine, and if you want to have more vigorous work outs, you can always prop the front or the back up on blocks or phone books for different conditions.
There are many different Pro Indoor Cycling Bike models to choose from, and you have to be careful when buying. There are local retail bike shops that have some selection, but your best bet is to go to an online retailer. These sites will not only have a better selection, but also the best prices, not including shipping. There are some things that you need to keep in mind when choosing the right indoor bike. One of them is that any bike you look at should have the same kind of positioning that your regular bike has. Look for similar handle bar and seats as you own bike. Make sure that both of these are fully adjustable, to fit your individual body type.
Then there is price. You have to compare prices, with durability. Since you may be using your Pro Indoor Cycling Bike at least half as much as your outdoor one, an indoor bike has to be made from sturdy materials as well. The better made, the more expensive they tend to be. You also have to think about space. If you have a limited amount of space, then you may want to consider a folding model, that can be put away when not in use.

Answer
You seem to have a fairly good idea of how to achieve your goals but you workout plan could use a little work. You cant really go wrong with the cardio you are doing as long as it is for at least 30min.
-For loosing the belly fat remember that battle is won in the kitchen not the gym
-simply cut down on what you are eating and eat helthier, it is possible you are eating more than you need to
-the weight workout depends on what your goals are
please see the website i provided for full workout plans and help on loosing weight
Good Luck!
