How To Make Good Healthy Habits

You will find a good list of positive habits to add to your life to promote staying healthy. To have good health is of much importance to us all. To give us an overall sense of feeling healthy, we must include factors such as endless energy, a good night’s sleep, a fit body and illness free. To begin to lead a healthy life we need to take on the routines and practises of a healthy lifestyle including a healthy diet and exercise. Lazy and lathargic are two words that don’t go with being healthy. Physical and mental exercise is required for us to be fit and healthy.

Junk foods are to be avoided at all costs, to make sure we never feel lathargic and dull. One thing you will really want to avoid at all costs is that of health problems, and they seem to come at a higher risk when you are over weight. To avoid health problems in the future, you can start by trying to maintain an optimum body weight.

Positive thinking can really help when it comes to being and remaining healthy. By removing any depressing and negative emotions from your mind, you can replace them with happier, more positive ones to move forward. Positive thoughts can be energising and helpful in all aspects of life. Try attending some yoga and meditation sessions to help rid the negative energy.

Consuming healthy foods will become a big part of your new healthier lifestyle. This includes simple foods like nuts, fruits, veges and lean animal meats. Avoid any refined food products if you can.

Sadly, the main reason for sickness and disease is brought about by bad food habits. A bad food diet can lead to illness like diabetes, obesity, cancer and sadly, many more. Just with simple changes to your meal plan, you can see great changes to your health in a relatively short amount of time.

Exercising often can help you feel refreshed, especially if you exercise at the start of the day. Not only will exercising put you in a postive frame of mind but it will also make it easier to think and make the right choices when it comes to healthy foods. Some exercise examples are walking, jogging, swimming, cycling and playing your favourite sports. Stay clear of the exercises you least enjoy.

You shouldn’t make any huge changes to your lifestyle to begin with either. Simple changes to start with are best to acheive long term success and overall, make it easier to enjoy them. 14 year old starting boxing?

Title says it all really. I’m 14 and I’m interested in starting boxing. I’m in pretty good shape and go out running every day I’m free or I cycle. What kind of fitness is there in boxing and how tiring is it? Also, I’m a Southpaw. Does that give me any advantage over people whos stronger hand is their right? What kind of things will I be doing in my first couple of sessions and what are some good tips?

find yourself a good trainer first. being in good shape is one thing, being in boxing shape is another. also youve got to ask yourself if you can take a pounding, do you have the heart. everyone thinks they do until theyre in the ring facing someone whos just as hungry as you are and trying to knock your block off. being a southpaw doesnt give you an advantage unless your facing someone who has never fought a lefty before. but first find yourself a boxing gym, train and spar a little, maybe fight as an amature for a few years and if you have any talent take it from there.
