What a good idea! The cycling fans at Google have responded to requests for cycling routes to be made available through Google Maps.

Curently only available in the US, there are plans for further expansion and there is also an online petition to show how much support there is for the idea. You can sign the petition yourself at Google Maps ‘Bike There’.
