Description
“I use these sessions early in the year when the weather isn’t so good. They help keep your condition and give you a good base for the more intense training later on.”
Peter Kennaugh – 2011 European Track Champion
When it comes to time trialing it’s just you, your machine and the clock. No teammates to help you, no tactics to hide behind – any mistake made belongs to you and only you. Not to worry – we’ll train your body to maintain the pace and your mind to handle the pressure.
3LC Time Trial was created to turn the tables on time trialing. Pete Kennaugh of Team Sky and former British Criterium Champion Rob Holden will guide you through intensive interval training designed to improve your lactic threshold, increase your core strength and enhance your muscle endurance. Train with the Manx and you’ll see your times tumble.
All 3LC Training Sessions are simple to use and based on cadence and Rate of Perceived Exertion – therefore, the difficulty is in your hands. If the session is too hard, knock it down a gear – too easy, get that gearing up! All you need is a turbo trainer, rollers or an exercise bike and you’re good to go.
3LC Time Trial will help you:
– Develop explosive and anerobic power
– Build up your maximum sustainable power output at lactate threshold
– Strengthen cycling-specific muscle groups
– Improve your pedaling efficiency
– Perfect your aerodynamic positioning
“3LC Time Trial is a great workout designed to improve your sustainable power at threshold; and it’s done in a way that will keep you engaged throughout the entire session.”
