The 2009 GT Force Carbon Expert Mountain Bike features the GT designed carbon monocoque frame. This frame is the same design and geometry as the aluminum Force Mountain Bikes from GT except you get the benefits of the carbon frame; less weight, vibration dampening, and a stiff ride.  GT carbon frames are created using a process called Force Optimized Construction which is a 4-step process to create some of the best carbon frames around.  Giving you a full 6 inches of travel to work with this frame will take you anywhere on the mountain. The idea with the Force frame is to be strong and stiff while saving the weight for the dumbbells in the gym, the carbon frame takes this concept to a whole new level.   All Mountain isn’t just a phrase with the Force Carbon Expert either, it features a Fox Float 32 R rear shock and the Fox TALAS 32 R fork to give you a full 6 inches of travel so you can take the proverbial bull by the horns. The TALAS fork has adjustable travel so you can limit the travel to 110mm or open it up to 150mm.   To match a frame so well thought out GT put Shimano XT components on this stallion.  The crankset, bottom bracket, front derailleur, rear derailleur, shifters, cassette, hubs, and brakes are all Shimano XT.  What isn’t XT is equally as durable, Mavic/DT Swiss wheels, Ritchey handlebar, Thomson Elite stem/steatpost, Fizik Gobi saddle, and WTB with Kenda Navegal tires round out the components for a stellar package.   Put all this together and the GT Force Carbon Expert truly is a force to be reckoned with, the strongest force around!
