20 Minute Workout Needed
Posted on July 12, 2011 by Dave W
It’s really just simple psychology. My Mom spent quite a lot of time and effort to get me to eat asparagus. I spent much time trying to reorganizing theasparagus so that they may not be visible on the plate. When I got married, my wife did just what my Mom did, with my own son. The point is that an extended period of 5 minutes to eat beans turns out to be perhaps hundreds of hours over a childhood.
It’s the same with exercise. A serious and rigorous training lasts 20 minutes, how long? Within 20 minutes, once you start. Most women spend at least that much time each morning with toiletries, makeup and dressing. Anyone can do it. Do I take 20 minutes to exercise or do I talk on their mobile phone or opt for a second cup of coffee. So, when some authoritative person, like your doctor, has ordered you to exercise, or else, dispel those gruesome ideas of exercise torment and just get on with it.
Here are some simple ways, painless and effective way is to crunch that 20 minutes worth training for all. If you enjoy walking, you’ve got it in the bag.
Select a time of day convenient for your schedule and stick to it, absolutely.
Start off as slowly as you need to, gradually picking up the pace in a way that’s comfortable and enjoyable. If you can take another family member or a friend, you can double your training 20 minutes a chat feature. You’ll do a world of good for your body, burn a few calories and have a good time doing it!
Your 20 minute workout can consist of anything where you’re moving and using your muscles. Your 20 minutes Personal Training is most effective when you do take a day to walk, one day for sit-ups and other swimming or cycling. The idea is to use all of your muscles in the course of a single week. As time goes on sit-up day will start to yield visile results. The one day you spend swimming or biking produces a nice toning of all your muscles and a notable disappearance of fat, always a good thing.
Maybe one day, your schedule is so tight and you just can not bear to see accumulation of pet hair on the living room carpet. Use your 20 minute workout to give the vacuum the thrill of its life. The arms, legs and back get a little toning, and even though you should not see Rover sleep on the floor, you have done your training 20 minutes. Mission accomplished.
Let’ s face it. Twenty minutes is not a long time. When you mentally falter, just think of the health conditions you will avoid by following the doctor’s orders.

Can anybody recommend any good workout songs?
preferably up to date stuff to use whilst doing cardio i.e running ,cycling..??
Thanks..
Answer
Hard to answer without knowing your tastes…. Personally I can’t stand any of the rubbish that’s in the charts, like Lady Gaga. Rap and Hip Hop work for many, but it all sounds the same to me. There’s only so many times I can listen to songs about people who are proud of their numerous bullet wounds, excessive amount of hoes, their bling or their Hollywood mansion!
Nope, I prefer more high-energy stuff, and for gym workouts particularly, you get way more out of it if your music is amped up and a touch angry! So, Nine Inch Nails works well! As does tool (especially ‘Stinkfist’). One song that’s particlarly good for any kind of workout (including running and cycling) is ‘Wolf Like Me’ by TV on the Radio. Lots of Pearl Jam stuff is great (but make a playlist to avoid the ballads) as are the first 3 Kings of Leon albums (forget their 2 latest ones – Garbage!). These are just a few ideas, but really the best thing to do is spend some time gong through your iPod and making a playlist from songs that YOU think YOU’D find motivational while exercising. I personally have a different playlist for weightlifting sessions (heavier/high energy) and for running (songs with a beat that matches my pace). Hope this helps.
Oh, LCD Soundsystem has an album simply called ’45.33′ which is a mainly instrumental album made specifically for running…. It runs for 45minutes and 33 seconds. Recommended
